This site is the property of Christian Dippon. I am an economist and vice president at NERA Economic Consulting, an international economic consulting firm. My consulting practice focuses mainly on economic issues in the communications industry. I advise governments and corporations in complex litigations, regulatory and policy issues, antitrust matters, and strategy. What This Site is Trying to Achieve

Whether you are reading the Wall Street Journal or the Herald Tribune, hardly a day goes by without reading about a controversial issue in the fast-paced communications industry. Headlines range from MVNO success stories, mobile handset and operator antitrust litigation, mobile TV strategies, wireline regulation to consumer class actions and political issues involving Internet regulation (Net Neutrality) and wireless handset open access. Unfortunately, many of these articles fail to consider the economics that underlie the industry. In designing this site, I am hoping to shed a little light on some of the most current issues in this particular industry. I also provide a collection of papers, books, and industry links.
